Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon Orange zest
  • 2 large Eggs

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease your donut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, orange zest, and eggs.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about ¾ full.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the donuts comes out clean.
  7. Let the donuts cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
