- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 pie crust pre-made or homemade
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add mushrooms and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
Place pie crust in a pie dish. Spread cooked mushrooms and shredded Swiss cheese evenly over the crust.
Pour the egg mixture over the mushrooms and cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
