  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter softened
  • 4 cups Powdered Sugar sifted
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Zest finely grated
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tablespoons Heavy Cream as needed

Instructions 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy and smooth.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Add the lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract. Beat until well combined.
  4. If the frosting is too thick, add heavy cream, one tablespoon at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.
  5. Beat the frosting for an additional 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
