Ingredients

Pizza Dough

  • 1 lb pizza dough store-bought or homemade

Toppings

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 cups fresh spinach roughly chopped
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese grated
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the chopped spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  5. Spread the garlic spinach mixture evenly over the dough. Top with shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
