Ingredients 

Chili

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 can Kidney Beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 packet Chili Seasoning

Cornbread

  • 1 box Cornbread Mix
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 large Egg

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add kidney beans, diced tomatoes, and chili seasoning to the skillet. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, prepare cornbread mix according to package instructions, using milk and egg.
  5. Pour chili mixture into a baking dish. Spread cornbread batter evenly over the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cornbread is golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
