Main Ingredients
- 1 can Chickpeas drained and rinsed
- ½ cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 Egg beaten
- ¼ cup Onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 2 tablespoon Parsley chopped
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil for frying
1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until the mixture is well combined but still slightly chunky.
2. Form the mixture into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter.
3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
4. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or as a filling in a sandwich.
