Ingredients 

Cookie Dough

  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups white chocolate chips

Cinnamon Sugar Coating

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon and sugar for the coating.
  6. Roll the dough into 1.5-inch balls, then roll each ball in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place the coated dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are still soft. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
