Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1.5 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Eggs large
  • 2.5 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Powdered Sugar for rolling

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Roll dough into 1-inch balls, then roll in powdered sugar to coat. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes, or until edges are set and tops are cracked. Cool on a wire rack.
