Ingredients

  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • 2 cups Cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup Carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large pot, steam the broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots until tender.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk, cooking until the mixture thickens. Add the cheese, salt, and pepper, stirring until the cheese is melted.
  5. Combine the steamed vegetables and cheese sauce in a mixing bowl, then transfer to a baking dish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
