  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 4 Eggs large
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your cake pans.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk, beating well after each addition.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool in pans for 10 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
