Ingredients 

Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Subs

  • 4 sub rolls split
  • 2 cups marinara sauce warmed
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Form mixture into meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Place meatballs in sub rolls, top with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Place subs back in the oven for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
