Main Ingredients
- 1 cup butter softened
- 1 cup brown sugar packed
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups trail mix your choice of nuts, dried fruit, and chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the trail mix.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
