Filling
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon ground cloves
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 pcs pie crusts store-bought or homemade
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a skillet, cook the ground pork and beef with the onion and garlic until the meat is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
Add the beef broth, salt, pepper, cloves, and cinnamon. Simmer for about 10 minutes, until most of the liquid has evaporated.
Line a pie dish with one of the pie crusts. Fill with the meat mixture. Cover with the second pie crust, sealing the edges and cutting a few slits in the top to allow steam to escape.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, until the crust is golden brown.
Let the pie cool for a few minutes before serving.
