Tomato Basil Bruschetta
A simple and delicious appetizer made with fresh tomatoes, basil, and garlic on toasted baguette slices.

Main Ingredients
- 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
- ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 baguette, sliced
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a bowl, combine tomatoes, basil, garlic, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
Spoon tomato mixture onto toasted baguette slices.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
Serve immediately.
