Sweet Jalapeno Cornbread

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Cornmeal
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- ¼ cup Vegetable oil
- 1 Egg beaten
- 2 Jalapenos seeded and chopped
- 1 cup Corn kernels fresh or frozen
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking pan.
In a mixing bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together milk, vegetable oil, and beaten egg.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Fold in the chopped jalapenos and corn kernels.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
