Instructions
Combine water, rice vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and red chili flakes in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened, about 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool before serving.
