Ingredients 

Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon allspice

Gravy

  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, salt, pepper, and allspice. Mix well and form into meatballs.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the meatballs until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and whisk in flour to make a roux. Gradually add beef broth and heavy cream, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens.
  4. Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer in the gravy for 10-15 minutes. Serve hot.
