  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pre-baked pie crust

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Gradually whisk in the milk and cream until smooth.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Boil for 1 minute, then remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the filling into the pre-baked pie crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is lightly browned.
  6. Let the pie cool completely before serving. Enjoy!
