- 4 bell peppers tops cut off and seeds removed
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheese optional, for topping
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked rice, diced onion, minced garlic, tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper.
Stuff each bell pepper with the beef mixture and place them in a baking dish.
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
Remove the foil and sprinkle the tops with shredded cheese, if using. Bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let the stuffed peppers cool for a few minutes before serving.
