Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.25 cup strawberry jam
  • 4 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • Maple syrup optional

Instructions 

  1. Spread cream cheese on 4 slices of bread.
  2. Spread strawberry jam on the other 4 slices.
  3. Press together to make 4 sandwiches.
  4. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  5. Dip sandwiches in the egg mixture.
  6. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  7. Cook sandwiches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  8. Serve with maple syrup if desired.
