Tart Base
- 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup Sugar
- 0.5 cup Butter cold and cubed
- 1 large Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Topping
- 2 cups Strawberries sliced
- 1 cup Whipped cream
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix until the dough comes together.
Press the dough into a tart pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool completely.
Top the cooled tart base with whipped cream and sliced strawberries. Serve immediately.
