Dough
- 2 ¼ teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
Filling
- 1 cup diced strawberries
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Lemon Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Add sugar, butter, salt, eggs, and flour. Mix until dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
Roll out dough into a rectangle. Spread diced strawberries mixed with sugar and cornstarch over the dough.
Roll up the dough and cut into 12 rolls. Place in a greased baking dish. Let rise for another 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake rolls for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Mix powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest to make the glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
