Ingredients 

Dough

  • 2 ¼ teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour

Filling

  • 1 cup diced strawberries
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Lemon Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Instructions 

  1. In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Add sugar, butter, salt, eggs, and flour. Mix until dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  3. Roll out dough into a rectangle. Spread diced strawberries mixed with sugar and cornstarch over the dough.
  4. Roll up the dough and cut into 12 rolls. Place in a greased baking dish. Let rise for another 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake rolls for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Mix powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest to make the glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
