Ingredients 

Dough

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • ¾ cup warm milk
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

Filling

  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add warm milk, egg, and melted butter. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  6. Spread the chopped strawberries evenly over the dough. Sprinkle with sugar and cornstarch.
  7. Roll the dough into a log and cut into 8 rolls. Place on a baking sheet.
  8. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Let the rolls rise for another 20 minutes.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
