Dough
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- ¾ cup warm milk
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
Filling
- 1 cup strawberries, chopped
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
Add warm milk, egg, and melted butter. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
Spread the chopped strawberries evenly over the dough. Sprinkle with sugar and cornstarch.
Roll the dough into a log and cut into 8 rolls. Place on a baking sheet.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Let the rolls rise for another 20 minutes.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
