Cake Ingredients
- 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 1.5 teaspoon Baking powder
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large Eggs
- 0.5 cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Fresh strawberries, chopped
Lemon Glaze Ingredients
- 1 cup Powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth.
Fold in chopped strawberries.
Pour batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar and lemon juice to make the glaze. Drizzle over the cooled cake.
