- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Strawberry Frosting
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoon strawberry puree
- 1 tablespoon milk
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a donut pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
Fill donut pan cavities about ¾ full with batter.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let donuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
For the frosting, mix powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and milk until smooth.
Dip cooled donuts into the frosting and let set.
