Stout Brownies Recipe

- 1 cup stout beer
- 1 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1.5 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar packed
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips optional
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugars until combined.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in stout beer and chocolate chips, if using. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool before cutting into squares.
