Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla and eggs.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture, mixing until combined.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on prepared baking sheets. Flatten slightly with the bottom of a glass.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Once cookies are cool, melt chocolate chips and use a piping bag to draw spider webs on each cookie. Use white icing to add details.
