Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, garlic, carrot, and celery, and cook until softened.
Add the ground beef to the pot and cook until browned.
Pour in the red wine and let it simmer until it has mostly evaporated.
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, dried oregano, dried basil, and beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Serve the Bolognese sauce over the cooked spaghetti and garnish with grated Parmesan cheese.
