Sour Cream Apple Pie
A delicious and creamy apple pie with a tangy twist from sour cream.

Filling
- 1 cup sour cream
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoon flour
- 1 egg beaten
- 6 apples peeled, cored, and sliced
Topping
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup flour
- ¼ cup butter cold, cut into pieces
- 1 unbaked pie crust
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, sugar, vanilla extract, salt, flour, and beaten egg. Mix well.
Fold in the sliced apples and pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
In another bowl, mix together brown sugar, flour, and butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over the apple mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is set.
Allow to cool before serving.
