Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

- 2 cans crescent roll dough
- 2 packages cream cheese softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup melted butter
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Press one can of crescent roll dough into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough in the baking dish.
Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it on top of the cream cheese layer.
Pour the melted butter over the top layer of dough.
Mix the remaining ½ cup of sugar with the cinnamon, and sprinkle over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven until the crescent dough has puffed and turned golden brown, about 30 minutes.
Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
