Sopapilla Cheesecake Dessert Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 2 cans crescent roll dough
- 2 packages cream cheese softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup melted butter
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Press one can of crescent roll dough into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and the vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Spread over the crescent dough layer.
Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it on top of the cream cheese mixture. Do not press down.
Pour the melted butter evenly over the top of the dough.
Stir together the remaining ½ cup of sugar and the cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the butter layer.
Bake in the preheated oven until the crescent dough has puffed and turned golden brown, about 30 minutes. Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into 12 squares.
