Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1.5 cup Sugar
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 2.75 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

Cinnamon Sugar Coating

  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and 1.5 cups of sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoon of sugar and 2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
  7. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  8. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
  9. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are set and lightly golden.
  10. Cool on wire racks.
