Dough
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 ¼ teaspoon active dry yeast
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- ½ teaspoon salt
Filling
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Icing
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoon milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
2. Add sugar, melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
3. Gradually add flour and mix until a dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes.
4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
6. Spread softened butter over the dough. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly on top.
7. Roll up the dough tightly and cut into 12 rolls.
8. Place the rolls in a greased slow cooker. Cook on high for 2 hours.
9. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the icing. Drizzle over warm rolls.
