Ingredients 

Dough

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 ¼ teaspoon active dry yeast
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Filling

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Icing

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. 2. Add sugar, melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
  3. 3. Gradually add flour and mix until a dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. 5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  6. 6. Spread softened butter over the dough. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly on top.
  7. 7. Roll up the dough tightly and cut into 12 rolls.
  8. 8. Place the rolls in a greased slow cooker. Cook on high for 2 hours.
  9. 9. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the icing. Drizzle over warm rolls.
