Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup Frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • ½ cup Milk
  • ¼ cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 unit Refrigerated pie crust
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 unit Onion, chopped
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until soft.
  3. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the chicken broth and milk. Cook until the mixture thickens.
  4. Add the shredded chicken and frozen peas and carrots. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until heated through.
  5. Unroll the pie crust and place it over the skillet, tucking in the edges. Cut a few slits in the top to allow steam to escape.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
