Ingredients

  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ¼ cup white wine optional
  • ¼ cup lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley fresh
  • ½ cup butter
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the linguine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. 3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. 4. Pour in white wine (if using) and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. 5. Return shrimp to the skillet, add cooked pasta, and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. 6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
