Sausage Stuffed Peppers Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 4 bell peppers any color
- 1 lb Italian sausage casings removed
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
In a mixing bowl, combine the sausage, cooked rice, ½ cup of mozzarella cheese, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Stuff each bell pepper with the sausage mixture and place them in a baking dish.
Top each stuffed pepper with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
