Sausage Strata Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 pound Italian sausage cooked and crumbled
- 6 cups bread cubes day-old
- 2 cups shredded cheese cheddar or your choice
- 2 cups milk
- 6 eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, bread cubes, and shredded cheese.
In another bowl, whisk together the milk, beaten eggs, dry mustard, salt, and black pepper.
Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and bread mixture. Stir to combine.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Bake for 60 minutes or until set and golden brown.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
