Sausage Mushroom Strata

Main Ingredients
- 1 pound Italian sausage cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups mushrooms sliced
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté mushrooms until tender.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
In a baking dish, layer sausage, mushrooms, and cheese. Pour egg mixture over the top.
Bake for 45 minutes or until set and golden brown.
