Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Sausage crumbled
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 Celery Stalks chopped
  • 2 Apples peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 teaspoon Sage dried
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme dried
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 10 cups Bread Cubes dried

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onions and celery until tender. Add apples and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, combine sausage, onion mixture, bread cubes, chicken broth, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Transfer to a greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until top is golden brown.
