Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté onions and celery until tender. Add apples and cook for another 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine sausage, onion mixture, bread cubes, chicken broth, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Transfer to a greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until top is golden brown.
