Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup toffee bits
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in toffee bits.
  6. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Sprinkle with sea salt.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are golden.
  9. Cool on wire racks.
