Salted Caramel Pretzel Crunch Bars

Base
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1 cup melted butter
- ½ cup sugar
Caramel Topping
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 4 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture into a baking dish to form the base.
3. Bake the base for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
4. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, heavy cream, and butter. Cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens.
5. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and sea salt.
6. Pour the caramel mixture over the cooled pretzel base.
7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
