Ingredients 

Crust

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter melted
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Filling

  • 4 cups Apples peeled, cored, and sliced
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground Nutmeg

Topping

  • ½ cup Caramel Sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, flour, and salt for the crust. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake the crust for 15 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and set aside.
  4. In another bowl, mix the sliced apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg for the filling. Spread the apple mixture evenly over the baked crust.
  5. Bake for an additional 30 minutes or until the apples are tender.
  6. Remove from the oven and drizzle with caramel sauce. Sprinkle with sea salt. Let cool before cutting into bars.
