Main Ingredients
- 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
- ¼ cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon Baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ½ cup Unsalted butter, softened
- ½ cup Granulated sugar
- ½ cup Brown sugar, packed
- 1 large Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon Red food coloring
- 24 pieces Hershey's Kisses Unwrapped
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy. Add egg, vanilla extract, and red food coloring. Mix well.
Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
Remove from oven and immediately press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
