Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup Granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup Brown sugar packed
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  5. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet. Chill the dough balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before baking.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
