Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups raspberry jam

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Combine the flour, oats, baking soda, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture.
  4. Press ⅔ of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Spread the jam over the crust. Crumble the remaining dough over the jam layer.
  5. Bake for 35 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
