Ingredients 

Cake

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries

Crumb Topping

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • 2 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add milk, egg, and melted butter. Mix until just combined.
  4. Fold in raspberries gently.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  6. For the crumb topping, mix flour, sugar, and sliced almonds in a small bowl. Add melted butter and mix until crumbly.
  7. Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the batter.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the cake cool before serving.
