- 1 cup Butter softened
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 Eggs
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 cup Raspberry Jam
- 1 cup Sliced Almonds
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time.
Gradually add the flour and mix until combined.
Spread ⅔ of the dough into a greased baking pan.
Spread the raspberry jam over the dough.
Drop the remaining dough by spoonfuls over the jam and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool completely before cutting into bars.
