  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Pumpkin puree
  • 0.5 cup Butter, melted
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground cloves
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the sugar, pumpkin puree, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
