Ingredients 

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about ¾ full.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the donuts comes out clean.
  7. Let the donuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
