  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 8 slices prosciutto
  • 8 spears asparagus trimmed
  • 1 unit egg beaten

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the puff pastry into 8 equal strips.
  4. Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of prosciutto.
  5. Wrap a strip of puff pastry around each prosciutto-wrapped asparagus spear.
  6. Place the wrapped asparagus on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush the puff pastry with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
  9. Serve warm.
